How to plan a PRP visit from Queen Creek

Choose the route from your part of town

From central Queen Creek, Ocotillo leads west toward Loop 202 and Dobson Road. That Chandler drive is about 18 miles and often takes 25 to 30 minutes.

From Cortina and northwest Queen Creek, Chandler is roughly 14 miles and 20 to 25 minutes away. Queen Creek Road or Germann leads west, then joins Loop 202.

State Route 24 helps drivers near Signal Butte, Meridian, and Barney Farms. The Chandler trip is about 19 miles and 25 minutes before traffic changes.

Allow more time from the 85140 side

From Encanterra or Ironwood Crossing, head north toward State Route 24. The Chandler trip is about 24 miles and 30 to 35 minutes.

From the southwest, Riggs Road or Chandler Heights Road usually leads toward Loop 202. That drive is around 16 miles and 25 minutes.

These times are only for planning, so check current traffic. Arrange a driver if soreness could affect braking, steering, or leaving the car. Morning and late-afternoon traffic on the loop can add a fair bit to any of these times.

Medicare's national coverage policy covers autologous platelet-rich plasma ONLY for patients with chronic non-healing diabetic, pressure and/or venous wounds, and only within an approved coverage-with-evidence-development clinical study. There is no Medicare national coverage for PRP in osteoarthritis or tendinopathy, which is why these injections are billed to the patient as cash-pay.
